A complete guide to providing liquidity and farming CORE on cvault.finance
Disclaimer: when you participate in adding liquidity, you get LP tokens that can not be redeemed for the underlying liquidity.
For this walkthrough we’ll use Metamask — cvault.finance also supports WalletConnect.
First you’ll need to purchase Ethereum from your favorite cryptocurrency exchange. You can purchase it on FTX.com. You can participate in farming CORE with any amount of Ethereum, however make sure you do have enough to warrant the ETH GAS fees for all your transactions.
Install MetaMask into your browser.
Make sure to follow each step, write your secret phrase down and memorise your password. After this, you are a proud owner of an Ethereum address which allows you to hold Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens.
You have to send your purchased Ethereum to your Metamask wallet. You can find your Ethereum address by clicking on the Metamask-Icon on the top right side of your browser. Now click on your address at the top of the MetMask widget popup and it will copy it to your clipboard.
Now go back to your FTX account and send your Ethereum to your copied Ethereum address.
Before we start our swapping journey you should have an understanding of GAS fees and limits. If you experience any errors with transactions, try to increase your GAS limits in Metamask.
📈 STEP 1: Buying CORE tokens
Once you set up everything you need to go to the official Uniswap Link.

Top right, click “Connect to Wallet”, MetaMask will now pop up and ask you to trust the site, you have to agree to all of it in order to continue.
Now we are going to trade your Ethereum into CORE tokens. Since a CORE liquidity token requires Ethereum and CORE on a 1:1 ratio(in Dollar value) make sure to not trade all your Ethereum for CORE.
Click the Swap button, Metamask will popup asking you again to agree to the transaction. This is where you need to take a look at the current network fees.
You can change the amount of GAS by clicking the edit button next to gas fee and opening the advanced tab.
After adjusting the GAS fees you can click confirm. After a minute or so you will receive the transaction confirmation and the new balance of CORE will be visible on the Uniswap page.
💾 STEP 2: Combining your CORE and Ethereum into Uniswap Liquidity Tokens
Head back to the CORE-ETH Uniswap page and click on the Add Liquidity button in the top right corner.
Add your purchased CORE, you will see that Uniswap will automatically add the correct amount of Ethereum to maintain a 1:1 ratio.
Click “Supply”, a pop up will appear, click on confirm Supply and confirm the transaction on Metamask.
It will take a few minutes until the transaction is completed and you receive your UNI-V2 LP tokens.
🖥️STEP 3: Staking your UNI-V2 LP tokens on cvault.finance
Head over to cvault.finance and connect your wallet by pressing the “Connect Wallet button” on the right side
In the Summary tab you will see all the information regarding the CORE tokens and CORE-ETH LP tokens in your wallet.
Click on the “Stake” button to start the staking process of your LP tokens.
A new window will appear asking you how many tokens you would like to stake. Please select the amount of tokens and press the “stake” button. A bug has been reported when trying to stake a number with higher than 3 decimals. In order to successfully stake limit the number of decimals.
Go ahead and confirm the transaction on your MetaMask, keeping in mind the gas prices, so that the transaction gets processed swiftly. Wait for the blockchain confirmation.
